Look at the whole site, shovenose. The whole site is a not-for-profit, and from the looks of it a site for a hobby group. That usually means the people involved with running the site are doing it on their own time and for free. You have to cut these guys a little more slack in terms of design and development.

yes it is non profit. our guy doe not keep up with his duties of updating. also has not turned into us any and all info related to our host, cost, password.we do not want to be held up if we decide to not use him, and go someone else. all of you have been a great help on tyhis forum. knowledgeable too. this html seems to be a lot of work, try, check, look ,try ,check.
is there a good cd- for learning html? and is this all you need to run the website.
Honestly, the best way to learn HTML is just to dive in. There are some sites like http://www.w3schools.com/ that can help you out with basic 101-type stuff and let you get general concepts down, but most of it is trial, error, trial, error, trial, error, WTF, why isn't this working, throw random objects, lose sleep, nearly pass out in the chair, finally get it, feel better, get six hours of restless sleep, go back, do it again.
