Just in case anyone's interested, anyone who can solve this problem will get $10 turtle dollars...

I'm having problems redirecting my domain name I bought from yahoo to my site hosted on powweb.com. It says I need to redirect at yahoo using the following:

    ns3.powweb.com (66.152.97.3)
    ns2.powweb.com (66.152.97.4)

The problem is I have no idea where I need to enter that info into at yahoo. On yahoo domains, there are the following areas to edit my records:

(1st item is record type, 2nd is host name, 3rd is destination)
    CNAME imap.joneneart.com mail1.wss.vip.scd.yahoo.com
    CNAME mail.joneneart.com mail1.wss.vip.scd.yahoo.com
    CNAME pop.joneneart.com mail1.wss.vip.scd.yahoo.com
    CNAME smtp.joneneart.com mail1.wss.vip.scd.yahoo.com
    CNAME joneneart.com ns3.powweb.com
    CNAME www.joneneart.com ns2.powweb.com
    MX joneneart.com mail1.wss.vip.scd.yahoo.com
    MX joneneart.com mx1.wss.scd.yahoo.com

Did I enter the powweb addresses in the wrong spot???

Also, the temporary url is: www07.powweb.com/~jonene
    The domain name is: www.joneneart.com

    Oh this might also help:

Under the powweb controls, there is the following info:

(1st is type, 2nd is status, 3rd is machine, 4th is IP address, and 5th is server status)
    DNS active ns3.powweb.com 66.152.97.3 up
    DNS active ns2.powweb.com 66.152.97.3 up
    HTTP active www07.powweb.com 63.251.216.77 up
    SMTP active mail04.powweb.com 63.251.216.37 up

(Also, I decided I'd try changing the 'ns3.powweb.com' in yahoo domains to it's original ip address, and it changed from a 'cname' to 'a' if that means anything to anyone..)

You need to change where it says "DNS Servers" keep in mind, it can take as long as 72 hours for the dns to propogate.. meaning it wont actually work until about 72 hours after you change it.

So would I change it on Yahoo Domains or Powweb Hosting? And what would I change or enter?

    Thanks!
