Im looking for an ASP host. Some guy (transio maybe) said flump.net - they are on linux servers so no asp just php. Anyone know a good, bit of space + bw host out there? Not a free one, but not arm and leg.

transio would have recommended Interland. (Not that he's predictable in a lot of ways or anything. )

My host of choice is Sectorlink. They're who I use for my own site and my clients' sites (when they let me pick the host, which they most often do). They have quite a few plans with different features and some different components that you can play with to enhance the overall usefulness of a site (mmmmm...ASPUpload...) Decent bandwidth and space for the money too, I've found.

I've been with them about 18 months now (damn, that's a long time in hosting years) and I've had very few issues. The only two major ones I've had were things that I can't blame them for; one was the bugs in an updated version of Live Stats (6.2.6 I believe had some rather strange behavioural flaws) and one was a hard drive failure (which can happen...they're machines, they break, right?) I've used most of their hosting plans at one time or another, depending on the client, and I've found that no matter what I can throw at them for resource consumption (and yes, I can suck a lot of client resource up if I have to), they respond very well.
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.
