    Ok im using networksolutions.com

    I set my nameserver to ns1.freewebs.com how do i get my domain to go to my freewebs account

    I trouble shoot on freewebs and it says that i do not have my domain name connected to a freewebs account, how do i direct the url straight to my freewebs account

    Freewebs themselves has to make an adjusting entry on their NS1.freewebs.com DNS server. If there is no record on their DNS server associated with that domain name, it won't go through.

    I often forget this with my host when I set up third-level domains on my box.

    The other thing you can do is transfer your domain to a registrar that offers URL forwarding (having a URL redirect to another URL). eNom, Domain Discover, and their resellers offer this, but I'm not sure about GoDaddy. NetSol...they probably do, but it'll be some ridiculous thing where you'll have to pay some bizarre surcharge for it.

    Go figure...Netjerk Slowlutions/Very Sly trying to rip off the customer with a lack of knowledge. I'm shocked. :P
