    How to Change the font in Wordpress Delicacy Theme

    Hi all,

    One of my sites is: roadtoglutenfree.com. I am using the Delicacy theme and have been trying to figure out how to change the font type and size. I think the print is much too small. I'd like to have something a little bigger to make things easier to read.

    I have tried making changes to the style.css in the child theme but it's not working. I'm sure it's buried somewhere else but I can't find it.

    Anyone know how I can change the font type and size for this theme?

    Thanks!

    Do you have an area within the theme to add custom CSS? This is usually where you can make significant changes to the style of your site. If you are using Firefox as a browser then you can do something like this...

    1. Right-click over the word Forums at the top of this page - Select Inspect Element with Firebug
    2. You'll see the inspector console below - You can see that the class - navtab has been highlighted and on the right-hand side - all of the styling - Click on the font size of 14px and change it to 25px - press Enter.
    3. Now take another look at the menu - It's increased in size.
    4. Now copy the enter styling of what you changed (you only need to copy the changes to any CSS, but for simplicity here just copy everything):

    .navtabs li a.navtab {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
    color: #fff;
    display: block;
    font: 25px/40px arial,helvetica,sans-serif;
    height: 40px;
    min-width: 60px;
    padding: 0 8px;
    text-align: center;
    text-decoration: none;
    width: auto !important;
    }

    Paste it into any part of your theme where it refers to Custom CSS.

    Publish your page and see the changes.

    Let me know how it went!

    Hi Webtransformer. I've tried that method a few times. I use that method for other sites but for some reason, it doesn't work with the delicacy theme. I think the fonts are buried in the theme somewhere but I haven't been able to find it.
