But if I got an email containing this kind of subject matter, I can't say that I would immediately dismiss it as rubbish. First I'd investigate, then I'd call it rubbish. I've been online all day scouting for free web hosts. I'd like to get some of my local projects published. While finding free hosts hasn't been a challenge, what has been is finding one that communicates with Dreamweaver. I thought I just found a decent host, but I'll be damned if I can even get connected to them via Dw. I might just break down and buy server space. I think some go as low as 5.95 a month. That's not entirely terrible. I'll just have to not drive for about 3 weeks. $72.00 is 3/4th tank of gas for me.
You could just use FTP instead of DW to upload files.

I've been using my host for a very long time - around 6 years now... if you're looking for a cheap space they really are recommended. They're at hostingzoom.com - I have a reseller with them, unlimited accounts and a heck of a lot of bandwidth, etc... it costs me only $20 every quarter, which works out to be around 13 last time I checked the exchange rate (could be more now) - but still.. so cheap, and they've never had a fault or been down in the time I've stuck with them.

Worth a try if you are still looking, anyhow.

canaca.com - They sent me an e-mail advising me that my account had been up for automatic renewal but that my card had expired so they had closed the account.
Thanks for the information buddy. Seems to be similar to one of the sites where I get a free signup lately. I often fall in the $0.00 registration for the first year.

My hosting company starts sending me reminder mail to get my account renewed before 2 months of the expiry date which I think is a good sign and other reputed companies will also be doing so.
