    Fresh Start.

    Looking for your wonderful advise!

My Goal: To find a free hosting service that supports wordpress in one click so i can start making the website.

That simple! But here are my questions and concerns. Let us assume that I have experience with wordpress and how a theme must be bought (or get a free one) and then you can design your website. But that is all I know.

Let us also assume that one of my family members asked me to make them a website. So basically I'm looking for a cost efficient way of practicing first, what are my next steps should be?

    My moves:

    1. Buy a domain: Let us say Godday.
    2. Find a Hosting, maybe a free that supports worpdress? I haven't found them.
    (Some hosts I found in here are: https://www.sectorlink.com/ https://www.hawkhost.com/ A1 Web Hosting Solutions,Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed,Headache Free Web Hosting https://www.namecheap.com/ https://catalysthost.com/shared/ )

    3. Connect and sync Host with Domain.
    4. Install WordPress with the hosting.
    5. Get a theme.
    6. Start on the website.

But in the near future I'm planning on actually paying for a good service of +99% up time in hosting and etc.

Do I have my moves correct? What am I missing? What are the things I should be concerned about?

Thank you very much lovely people!

If you just want something to practice on, use https://wordpress.com/. You can get a blog for free and if you want to, point a domain to it...or just use (something).wordpress.com.

There aren't any other free hosts with a paid option that I know that will let you install WordPress. The big problem with WordPress is that it's a big resource abuser with some serious security issues, and there are quite a few hosts who are starting to resent it as a result..So you probably will have to pay if you want to install things on a server and give people domain names of their own and such.
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.
