    301 redirect

Apologizes if this is posted in the wrong thread. I'm uploading a new website and I'm having trouble getting my redirects working. I usually just use a html meta tag redirect but I want to get used to using the apache 301 redirect. I've uploaded my .htaccess file to the root folder but I can't for the life of me get the redirects to work.

The code below is what I am using in the .htaccess file. Could someone help me out and tell me where I'm going wrong. I'm using register 365 for hosting.

    Thanks... Shane

    AddHandler php55-script .php .php5
    Options +FollowSymLinks
    DirectoryIndex index.php

    RewriteEngine on

    Redirect 301 /info-articles/101-ways.html
