    Best email hosting service. Thoughts?

I currently have my website email linked to BLUEHOST which shuttles me to either Horde, Roundcube, or Squirrel mail but not too happy. The SPAM mail is incredible.... never use to get that much when I was G0-Daddy affiliated.

Also... I can't link Bluehost to my Android phone without doing some major tech work on my phone for some reason... work that would involve involving my cellphone provider, access IPs or whatever.

I'm looking for an email host that has a "ready to use" app for Android, awesome spam plan, and fast.

Can anyone suggest a good hosting site?

Im hosting my sites with SectorLink and it was extremely easy to get it to work on my iPhone. Im not sure if Android would be any more difficult, but I have loved how easy/well everything has been when switching to them. Way easier than working with GoDaddy!

The first thing you need to do is get rid of Bluehost and get a non EIG company..

I've always gone with email through Google Apps for Work -- worth the money just to have something everyone is familiar with that works and has really good spam filters, and you can stick your company logo on it!

I've done webmail with other services before, its NEVER been worth the headache. Though I was fairly impressed with the new Microsoft 365 email you can get through GoDaddy.

As much as I'd love to say "this is the hosting company's fault", especially since an EIG host is involved, it may not be. This may be a "correlation is not causation" case. Have you done anything with your email address that would expose it in some way? Have you published it on a site? Have you subscribed to something that may be less than reputable? Do you use it as your WHOIS email address without any form of privacy protection?

I'd try Googling your email address. If there are any results for it, you may have a problem associated with spam harvesting. A bot (or possibly a human) may have harvested your email.

If anything indicates that your email address has been compromised, you'll have to find ways to undo it or you'll never fully get rid of the spam, even on a good host.
