What do you know about this subject?

I've searched the Internet and I've found some interesting articles about making SEO, real good and efficient SEO, by just submitting videos along with your web site signature on social networks like youtube!

Do you know more on this subject? Have you practiced this?

I'm asking this because it's a lot of work to make a good Cratima web site design movie for something that I don't know that works.

Again, its talking of content. If you can provide a good video and its interesting, it works like a good article or diagram.

The video itself does not add to SEO. You can associate text with the video which can help a little. What really helps is that if your video can potentially be embedded into many other sites. Your link that you can include with your video will be associated with the content on those other sites. Essentially, you are getting backlinks to your site (something some sites often pay for) with little to no investment on your part.

Bear in mind though--if your video does not get embedded into other blogs, forums etc., your efforts will be somewhat of a waste.

    Michelle

Without a doubt viral marketing efforts are very valuable in case they are successful. There are extremely many examples of how effective that thing can be.
I'd say you should try if there is a chance.

I've red all your posts and I've realized that video submission is
not SEO, it is Internet marketing.

Web sites like Youtube, Google Video, etc., with high PR, are
very good for SEO (if you post a video, and you add your
keywords, and someone searches for them, your video should
appear in the first three pages, or so, and thus people would
    hear easily about me).

Of course you can use SEO for your video, in order for it to be
indexed better by search engines, but this depends on the web
sites that are hosting your video. I've heard that some of them
use nofollow in their source code.

I will make a video in collaboration with a marketing company.
I agree with you and think that if the video is good will bring
traffic to Cratima Interactive web site regardless it is well
indexed by Google, Yahoo, etc.... or not.

People will promote it better than spiders.

video is a good way to generate traffic is not as good as links from
directories where youc can place your keywords on anchored text lnks.
but it's ok... why this forum got few people to ask question?

It's probably based on video popularity. I wish I had my domain going when one of my videos hit 18,000+ viewers - that would've been great advertising.

Videos can bring lots of traffic to your website, but we can not say that it will effect the SEO of website, If you have entertainment site then you must think about video promotion of your website.

That's a wonderful idea! But I think that video submission is likely to be a kind of viral marketing, not just SEO. Video submission can be effective to my mind because it helps to attract others' attention to your information as well as to encourage other uses to share your info with each other.

Video is viral. Highly trafficked videos have high google rankings because they've successfully captured an audience. Viral video marketing is one of the most difficult types of web marketing. Careful you don't waste a lot of effort on something that doesn't speak a meme that is capable of catching on virally.
