I just wrote a post on the web apps I use to help manage my business, from invoicing, support ticketing, customer, relationship management, etc.

What apps or software have you found useful?

The ones I've built myself. My timekeeper app my invoice generator, and my accounting intranet are my two biggest tools.

The reason is that I built them by me, for me, and no one else has them or can see them.

How long did it take you to build them?

Timekeeper app...1 day (New Year's Day to be precise). Invoicing app...about 5 hours. Accounting intranet...a few days.

That's great. I'm looking forward to adding to my knowledge of programming. I am going through a series of videos, and am in a Web Application Development program.

Cool. I find WHMCS to be a great tool for managing my web hosting customers and accounts.

I found miva merchant services useful. Using ecommerce web development is easier.
