Totally FREE expert-staffed business development resource you might overlook

I am sticking this here -- not an exact fit, but it includes marketing in the broad context of running business which succeeds with sustainable profitability: www [dot] score [dot] org

Those letters stand for Service Corps Of Retired Executives, and it has been around for at least 35 years. I will say a tiny bit, but visit the website for full information.

TOTALLY FREE -- no "gotcha" charges for SCORE-hosted seminars, or meetings with mentors, or internet based distance-learning. So, why would an array of people with deep expertise and wisdom about all aspects of business give their time over to any newbie or former newbie who asks for advice ?

Because they know that, as the local chamber of commerce top dog in your local zip code might put it, "Small business is the engine driving --- at a fundamental level --- our American economy." Corny as heck, but true.

I hope this is some small compensation for the superb responses I have gotten on this forum . . .

Interesting site and concept. Is it available to Canadians (or other non-Americans for that matter)? I can't seem to find any info on that particular topic. Mind you, it's probably because I'm asking an oddball question.
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.

As far as I know, SCORE is only U.S. based, but there might be an approximate equivalent free business counseling resource in your neck of the woods.
