All the text I see needs to be white and there needs to be a white space for the main content to give the site focus. The site needs to be brightened up a bit. I'm also curious as to how you made the background that is on the right hand side of you image.

The techy triangular abstract image in the lower right corner doesn't fit to well with the themes/styles, it's the odd one out.

Instead of aligning your navigation links centred like you have, try aligning them in the space that starts from the left edge of the layout spanning to the start of the 'latest' sub-column.

That pattern could work with the site if it were a little darker, it seems to be a different (brighter) shade of red. Also, your navigation is impossible to read. As you continue designing, keep usability in mind. Make sure you don't put dark text on a dark background, or light text on a light background. If your text is too hard to read, people will leave your site.

Splufdaddy brings up some very valid points.

I don't like your red dark background colour, as it doesn't seem to work with the rest of the website, and it looks out of place.

Having the links black with a white border (at the very least) would make them stand out, though remember spluf's advice.

I don't like your large wide drop shadow on just one side of the site. Put it on both sides and centre the site, and make sure that the main image you have is no wider than the main content body so that border is visible on either side of the main image too .

Personally I would get rid of the paisley/northen men's club wallpaper pattern in favour of maybe a solid color, or a more subdued pattern. Also the site looks very image heavy (especially the 'Cypriot' images) which will mean a big wait for dialup and low bandwidth internet users.

Apart from that, the typography looks pretty nice and the reflections and transparency make for good effects. Currently 3/5 - with some work it could easily be 4/5.
