    the design is approved but I'm trying to see if this layout messes up on Netscape browsers, Mac users, Linux.. etc. and if there's something you dont like..
    links dont work yet

    main site: http://www.bgidesign.com/GCMHTML/index.html

    also..

    is the link style here better than this here since it's more consistent with the bottom links?

    Thank you kindly in advance

    Hey

    I think I saw that site before. Did you post it at echo? Anyway your layout in Netscape is messed up. The words overlap the images on the left. I'll post back when I have a screen shot of it.

    Peace :beard:

    it was the Flash version thou

    it's here

    http://www.gcmservices.ca

    I'm working on the DHTML now.. I did a couple of fixes so It shouldn't be that messed up now

    http://www.bgidesign.com/GCMHTML/index.html

    Also.. can someone explain to me the importance of margin-left:100px; against left:100px; when it comes to Netscape...

    It's one thing that I changed and it seemed to work better on Netscape.. but I think it messed up on IE so I'm not really sure what's going on.. hehe.. I have a week to finish it off so I hope I get some help from you guys

    ok..

    I fixed most of this stuff..(I think)

    one problem I have now is the postitioning of the bottom div

    when I use this
    position:relative; margin-left:-170px; margin-top:10px;

    IE shows me this ( the left part of the div isn't showing )

    but that's the only way that it would display correct in NN.. it likes the margin stuff..

    Now..

    If i do
    position:relative; left:-170px; margin-top:10px;
    Netscape shows this (somehow doesnt position it correctly ) you have to roll over at a totally different place to get the rollover effect.. the circle represents where my mouse is

    Anyone know how I can fix this please?

    I've tried all I could think of but I can't get this to work properly on both my NS4.7 and IE6.0

    Thank you

    EDIT: fixed a typo

    Hey, I tested your site in Netscape 4.07 and it worked awesome!!! Now this should mean that it will also work fine in Netscape 6+7, but I've had instances where things worked perfectly in 4 but didn't even show up in 6+7. But usually if NS 4 can show a site perfectly, so can all other browsers. :cheeky:

    oh, and the links look better underlined in my opinion.
