It looks a bit like the elements are just floating there. Perhaps a vertical line between the quotes and the "Now Accepting New Patients" text would work well, but other opinions on that would be good.
As to your navigation, rollovers are your friend. Just a little something to make them stand out a bit from the rest of the text on the page when the mouse hits them.
It is rather difficult to tell what are links and what aren't, by the way...

    Just a few notes.

Maybe you could elimate the white line at the bottem of the page, by putting the copyright and BY line in the last part of your background.

Also those 2 pictures on your frontpage at the bottem, maybe you could put the text in the center because the text looks alittle weird at the side without boundries but still centerd.

Hey guys, by the way... thanks for the info on the suggested changes. I've already implemented them if you wanna have a look. Thanks again.

I don't like the background you have there. I see what you're trying to do and it's a cool idea, but I find the background more distracting than anything else. Also, the navigation is a bit plain, it could use some sprucing up.

    Hi splufdaddy,

Thanks for the info. Yep, I agree on the nav, it is pretty plain.
My neurologist friend likes it pretty plain and simple. I tried to
talk him into something a little more spiked up but he preferred it
    to stay very conservative.

I'm the one that suggested the imagery on the background just to
add some depth to the site. I probably could have lightened them
up a bit more so they weren't too distracting.

About the nav, what do you think would have dressed it up more?

I would have liked to do more of a shading with a "lighting glare"
effect.. almost like you were hovering over glass buttons. I'm
kind of a techie so I like stuff like that.

Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to look it over for me Splufdaddy.
    I do appreciate the input.
