I'm getting a .COM url soon. This is best viewed with IE6. Mozilla messes some things up. Be gentle.. constructive.

The Google ads bring the page down.

The images on the left overlap the main text in Firefox. [edit]Ah, you already said that yourself, sorry...[/edit]
I think the blue links should be some other color; they just look old fashioned really.
Some more color to the site would be excellent if you can fit it in somehow. It's simply too monochromatic.
You should also add padding (4px or 6px) around the main text.

It's a nice start you have, but it needs some more work.

Ok. I kinda disagree with you on the font color. That seems to be the color that works best with grey. Maroon works OK too, but it doesn't go with the orange on the flash. So what I did was change the gradient.jpg background to orange and grey to liven it up. I think it looks better. What do you think?

This site is great for a beginner, I didn't even use flash till I got the basic web-design out of the way.

Now for the contructive critisim. I know this was just a try with the flash but maybe for later tries. Try to make the words bigger. Add something about your site in it. Something short, like we design. Or maybe add a little logo to it.

Now over to your menu, I think its alright, but try to put a bigger difference in your catagories(Web Design and my stuff), maybe something like a 3D horizontal rule.

Next spot light is also a catagorie so should be in bold and the same thing applies here maybe put a rule between the layouts.

No to your body, the text. If you ask me (maybe youre not) but the text should touch the sides. Did you use the pagebuilder for making this or did you use extern program like Front Page or Dreamweaver. Or did you just use HTMl? But you should put your text in tables. For one it will organize your site better, two it will make it easier for you to edit your text. And you get it off the sides. Your text isn't your body so it shouldn't be touching the sides.

I said that like 3 times but that is the biggest thing I see wrong.

But vor a beginner your site is great. I don't know hwo much you are a beginner but your well on your way.
