Loads fine for me in IE 6 and firefox 0.9. I have attached my IE screenshot to this post.

If you are interested in my comments, its a nice looking site, but your logo needs some work, it is very hard to read. If you change the colour it would stand out from your header background better.

Works for me in both as well - slow loading time, that's all you might be seeing.

Very slow loading, and that appears to be what you are seeing. It may also have something to do with the response time of your server to apply the formatting.

less images? lol - I use photoshop for 9 out of 10 designs I do, and I generally only use the images I need, and lose any excess images.

www.sconner.net - should load relitively quick.

Your header needs fonts that can actually be read by the average person. I know what the site is for, but I don't know who's site it is.

You can split you images in a much better fashion. For example:
    http://www.europeanag.com/images/index_24.jpg
The stuff on the right is a repeating background.

I could easily make that site be only around 30,000-40,000 bites or even lower. You site is right now 298,418 bytes!

The main problem is that you've used images where you don't need them. Your text should be exactly that: text, not an image. Code it in xHTML and CSS, using the images as ornaments and backgrounds.
