The site took a fair while to load on my 1 meg connection.

Change the links within your pages just to:
    HTML Code:
    <a href="pagename.html">Link</a>
This will stop the problems you are having with relative links.

I'm not sure what you meant by looking at design. I'm assuming you mean not just the layout. If you did, then the layout is fine. The underlying code however, needs some work.

    1. One of your images (banner.png) is 96kb. On a dial-up that will take users about 20 seconds to download. Consider shortening that filesize. Also, the left and right of banner.png is cut off for me (using opera 7.5) it appears that the image's padding is eating some of the space.

    2. You can clean up a lot of your left navigation using CSS. I'm not sure what ICT or GNVQ is. If you're in a web design class and haven't gotten to CSS yet, then you can ignore this point. Instead of having a bunch of little images for each link, have one big image be the background image for a div block, and put all your linkns in that div block.
