    My site has recently undergone extensive graphical and navigational upgrades. Additionally, new features such as more toplists, more news, and a directory have been added.. and the gallery which allows people to create a webpage for their cars is nearing completion!

    Stop by and have a look, tell me what you think of the progress thus far!

    Very nice. The only two things I'd change are the font you use for the menus (Arial looks so text-y in a menu) and the foreground colour of the "from MagPortal.com" links. (They turn out hard to read on my monitor.) Other than that, it's nice!

    Hello. Glad you liked it! I was also thinking similar about the text menu.. I just want to make sure its a common font. Previously I used images, but HTML loads much faster.

    Now I want to change that background. Those have proven incredibly elusive in the past, however, because not only do they have to maintain an excellent appearance when tiled, but they must remain small in file size. I wish the bgproperties: fixed wasn't so processor intensive combined with translucency.

    Thanks for looking!

    Nice site, I like the look and feel. I like the semi-transparent boxes that contains the main content. One suggestion would be to play around with colors other than gray. Also, the light blue text (Automotive News for ex.) is a little hard to read, maybe it would be clearer on a blue bg of some sort. I like the top banner alot!

    Site looks good. Maybe work a little more on the background image. It looks like they need some work. Also consider some of you font's colors. But good work on the site.

    Peace :beard:

    toplist

    Hello again;
    I have just finished a new PHP Toplist with many features including multiple banners, comments, ratings, voting, and more so take a look!

    Webmasters of all types of sites are welcome to add their website for more traffic.

    The toplist can be found under the 'directory' section. Let me know what you think!

    I like the new features, they look good, but the colorson the top of the boxes are stil hard to read...some links are gray on gray, others are a light blue on gray, both are hard to read. The forums and chat rooms look good, try to mirror the look and feel of those around the rest of the site.

    I have just completed the first experimental version of the Moveon gallery, where visitors can create webpages about their cars! Come have a look and telle me what you think. It is simple now, and only employs basic forms if visitors want to create webpages w/o HTML. Uploading is also available, however. Feel free to try out the system if you wish!

    I would like to use PHP to allow uploading pages and a type of non-HTML creation interface, but it seems my only option for PHP at this point would be to program a script myself, and that simply isn't possible now. I hope to encounter other options in the future.

    Getting better, but you still have a light background (transparent gray to white) and light text (light blue and grey). One of these needs to be a darker color. These are the content headings, so they should be very visible and bold, defining the page. Also, the light blue links in the boxes are a little too light as well.
