the front page lacks organization ... it also doesn't "grab" me.

Build the front page using the AIDA principles:
    Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action

and you will convert lurkers into buyers.

Why do you force people to fill out that useless form? Until you get that right you should remove the form..

Try using a visual hierarchy. Visual hierarchy can be achieved through text/graphic size, colour, relation to other other items or position on the page.

    Some quick examples:
    1) large text attracts more immediate attention than small text
    2) would colours aside from black and white attract more attention if used sparingly?
    3) white space can be interesting if used well, but it if it's not consistent it instead feels like a mistake.

The word "can't" has an apostrophe. I'd suggest that you adjust your logo tagline to use it.

Your navigation looks nice with the gradient. You should consider giving the user some indicaiton of where they are on your site aside from just the title. They'll also look in your navigation, so they need feedback on where they are. For instance, when on the "ordering" page, your "ordering" nav should maybe be a different colour, something, anything really to tell them more quickly where they are.

On my MacFireFix0.9.3 browser the site is 800 wide. When designing for 800x600 you do not actually make ther site 800 wide. Here is an article on the topic:
