I am designing a website for a DJ, and welcome any criticisms/suggestions. One additional option I am toying with is a smal piece of flash w/ a few sound loops made by him. There will definately be an on/off switch, as well as sliding volume control. Thanks in advance!

The black on dark blue is very hard to read. Also get rid of the animation for the side menu despite how cool it is.

A general consensus on the above site was that there was too much blue. I agree. I left it up for others to compare, but here is a new draft of this site, w/ a little less blue. Any comments/suggestions are welcome, thanks!

Ok, I've made some modifications recently, and wanted to know what ppl think.
The first three links under DJ Services are operational, though still under construction. Pictures are also expected to be added soon. Thanks!

Nice except (1) the red text is way out of place, and (2) the side menu animations are still annoying.

I'd agree with the red text being out of place. Perhaps a light cyan or grey for the links would work best.

I also don't like the side menu animations. Just have it pop up right away. You may also want to put a white border around the submenus to distinguish them from the page themselves.

Thanks all for you input, I greatly appreciate it. As I have already demonstrated, I am not the best judge when it comes to color schemes. The Red text in the corner will be changed, but first I need to decide on the color for the content headers. The yellow I have now is too bright. I've listed 4 possible colors at www.talentnetwork.us/home.php . Some are suggestions, and some are my own doing (I wont tell which is which ).
I think only one really works, if you have any other color suggestions, feel free!

Thank you all for your help, I appreciate it!

Perhaps you could make the middle content area background white. That would bring much more attention to the content and completely eliminate the text color issue (use black). I also find the angular features and textured backgrounds distracting and serving no purpose.
