My old post about reviewing my new site has been bumped out of view, but I wanted to start a new thread because I've taken everyone's advice on what they thought the new site should look like and anything that should be changed and I think now it is perfect. I wanted to get a few more opinions on the completely changed design before I moved content over to the new layout.

You can see the layout's here- New Layout and Old Layout. Thanks again.

I think the problem with your new site is the greenish bar that extends down the right of the page. It doesn't really fit in with your blue colour scheme. Right now it looks like two pieces jammed together... try making it blue

I want to keep the green nav bar color design, are you saying change the blue around the top advertisment to a green color?

I just don't think your green and blue colour scheme works... makeing it all blue might be a bit boring though

I agree in the sense that the blue and green clash. I liked the old one in that it gave the impression of being light, clean and aiery whilst I would describe the current one as dense and stuffy.

Unrelated to the colour issue you may want to increase the font size for the body text slightly more and remove the underline from the sub headings.

The colour you have for the background of the top advertising area is much better than before. I too think you should expand upon the blue instead of the green and yellow that is clearly ripped from CNET.com.

Also, try to make your text a little bit bigger. I am running on a resolution of 1152x864 (Which is quite uncommon umong general computer users) but I can see most sites' texts fine most of the time. As I say, just try increasing it by a tiny bit (Or changing font maybe) and it should be much easier to read on all resoulutions.

I got rid of the green color entirely. I want to keep the navigation style because it seems really easy to navigate. I changed the whole scheme to blue colors. What do you think of the nav bars (the gradients and such)? Also, is the text color still good as the orange-yellow or should it be changed to another color, like say white?
