The text on the navigation bar image looks a little streched out to me.

I guess you already have thought about it but just not have gotten around doing it - but the tutorials would look nice if they were within your design, instead of in a file next to... Nice looking... Lots of photoshop, and that really shines through.
You have gone for the monochromatic color sheme, but you have too much gray in it for it to look good. Look at macromedias site for some nice impressions about the monochromatic color sheme. Me for example, use complementary, which I kinda like .
    Yeah, nav text looks streched.
U know on the first page? You have a heading - "about shadowblade designs" - that one is really sleek looking. Use that instead of the photoshop-headings.
Make the +-es on the tutorials page clickable, since they are expected to be. (I clicked there first, and then on the link)
Shoutbox - well, I had some fun in it . Maybe a nice guestbook instead?
Google ads are annoying, that's all.
Your photographs are really good! Maybe u can do a onHover effect on them or use flash to do it? Then the onHover would be a larger (not much though) thumb with shadow further behind the thumb (just increase the distance from 3 to 5 px in photoshop for example...).
I have a different approach in my portfolio. Have a look...

I'd be glad for some comments on my site.

    /Henke
