    Hi,

Just wondering if you could give some views on this site I'm making for a Acupuncture Practitioner:

    http://tinyurl.com/3u79k

I'm going to try and find some logos for the qualifacations (LicAc & MBAcC) and put them at the bottom of the menu box.

I'll also try to include a photo of the Practitioner to go along side the main text.

    Any views suggestions welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

    No replies?

Proably becasue it was a bit rubish. I don't think the first idea was very sutiable so I came up with this:

Any views on this. I think it's better.

    Any comments welcome.

    Thanks.

The second one is great. I assume you'll border it and center it when you make it then?

The colors are excellent. They fit the content of the site better than the first. The layout is the classic style and that works just fine.

    Nice work.

Not Bad at all, I can't really find anything wrong with the design. The colours are nice, I like the beige and green (I also created a layout using those colours :P). I also like the symbol you used (logo I guess?). It seems to fit the sites theme. Overall it looks like a great theme for an Actupuncture Practitioner.

Thanks for the comments. Being a bit cluless when it comes to design (though I think I'm getting better) I find this forum very helpful.

I will add a border (proably the same darker green thats round the top tittle and footer), and I'll also center it on the screen.

Thanks again, all I need now is the go ahead to build it.

If you'd like to hear my thoughts on how to fit it into a layout

I wouldn't border it all - looks too common. Make a layer that streches to the both right and left edges of the viewport. Then add the logo in a layer div above that div.
Then keep the rest, and make some kind of border down from the top (the header + backgrounddiv) to the bottom of the viewport or if you like; the bottom of your content div. I.e. make it stretch vertically with the text as you add more text and keep the header above horisontally stretched.
Might wanna try to put the layout on the right for a change perhaps? It could be nice with some contrast from all the other sites out there.

So the page streaches the entire width of the viewport?

Well, I was only talking about the header there. I've seen some site like that and I can say that I like them. Then of course the page isn't vertically centered as well, but scrollable.
