    Hi,

I just finished designing my homepage and I would really like to receive reviews, opinions, suggestions... of it.

It was redesigned from the first site.

Here's the link for the new design.

I haven't put any content yet until it gets a final design.

A big improvement over the first design - but I think you need more consistency. Some elements look out of place; one example is color. The different shades of blue throughout the layout isn't a good idea. Also, whilst the touch of red in the banner looks great, the orange along the left and bottom right makes it seem as though you placed a banner onto a completely different website.

    Hope that helps

    Hi,

    thanks for the suggestions.

I tried to change the design, but I still can't get the right look.

    How can I ameliorate it?

Here is a picture of it.

Another thing, make all the links the same. you have different mouseovers for all your links. Try to keep things standardized.

It's a bit of a slow loader, you could cut this down a huge amount by using repeting tiles instead of a graphic streching the whole area.

For example take the orange and blue stripes down the lefthand side. The blue could be replaced with a bit of CSS and the orange stripe could be replaced by a thin strip 15 pixels wide and 1 pixel high. This will repeate itself downwards.

Also the right hand 'Latest News' box could mostly be replaced by CSS, except the top and bottom sections.

WOW!!! That loads really slow... I assume you are on a Bad server.

Anyway, I like the new site. MUCH improved in Design and Graphics! It looks like your skills have improved/matured

I don't care very much for the mouse over effect and navigation style
