I'm designing a website with Parts only accessible by login in. So a user registers and then logs in. there will be a page where a user can change their account/profile information (login/password/contact info, etc.)

The qustion is, should i refer to it as MyAccount or MyProfile, or Any other options? This will not store any personal credit card or finance information, but the company does work with Reps and Distis and the firms do have corporate accounts and though that information will not be included in this website, they are available on other websites.

    what do you think?

Thought about that, but will save that for later. Even then, should it be Update Your MyCompanyname Account or Profile?

This may seem like a silly question, but what is decided now will remain for years and wanted to know what the experts think.

Account generally references something financial, whereas profile deals more with user preferences. Either could have contact information, password options, avatars, etc.

Personally, I would go with MyProfile if you've no intention of using financial information.

Don't know about that... to me, account is as plausible as profile. IMO it should reflect the business at hand.

What kind of business is it?
