    Welcome to the board, Jeff!

A few things that I can see that I would improve:

    1) I'd lose the pencil for the I in "belief". You might want to put a faded trend line in the background in its place. I like the pie chart for the O though. That's cool.

    2) The secondary polls should be somehow related to the primary polls and perhaps based on the answers to the primary polls. e.g. if someone's in favour of the war on Iraq, the next question could be "Are you willing to fight for your country in Iraq?"

    3) I don't like when a Javascript takes over my status bar with a message. I like to know where I'm going. Then again, that's a matter of personal preference.

    Hope this helps.

I agree with TheGame, and additionally, I would add links to "view results w/o voting" if possible. Not a huge deal, but most polls I see have this feature. Also, try adding some content to your site. You could add a section of news links, and break them down by category. But for the love of the status bar, let it do it's job

I figured that if you have to vote to view the results then more people would vote. And there will be content once the layout is finished. Although I have already started to have trouble with the scripting component of the site...

And im sorry but your comment about the status bar went clear over my head...

Maybe tou can clarify on that one heh.

When visitors mouse over a link, usually they can see the link location in the bottom left corner of their screen (the status bar...this also usually features a bar the grows to 100% as sites load, etc). Their is some javascript here (either entered by you or maybe the code that you got the group of links from) that is taking over the status bar, entering it's own message. Some people find this annoying! :rambo: (just wanted to use that smiley)

Do you think the site looks kind of plain and boring though? It also seems like it doesnt fill up the page, especially on bigger resolutions.

That's an easy enough problem to solve with your site. All you do is change your WIDTH attributes on your tables and cells to percentages instead of absolute numbers. This will allow them to resize and fit a wider number of resolutions.

It looks small and boring because it is one page and has no content other than a few polls.

do you think we should have more polls on the home page? Or maybe a picture relating to the poll?
