Its up, anything to make it better?

ive finaly got most of it up. not all working, but i would like to have your oppinion or if possible any improvements. i want to learn so give it to me all of it.

it looks like 3 different sites put together.
the left menu should match the content design. the way the background is, the top banner needs to have a border rather than the 'coming out' effect. rollover colour needs to contrast the links more, as silver and white in font is too similar.

okay okay i get ... most of it. the links and the banner i can do but the menu what do you mean like change the bg or have actual buttons or change the topic bar?

have the top the the menu table match that of the content. (menu = square top. content=rounded top. have both rounded or squared.)

Center the whole thing, make the logo have the same sorta theme as the layout, and it'll look pretty good.

I like the middle area layout. The header logo dosent match at all maybe change that white border thing around it to the darker blue in the main area. Tha menu on the left i feel needs the same background as the news bit in the main area. Instead of black for the menu make it the light blue which is used in the main area. Then have a gap between the menu and the main.
Keep working on it though it will look great.
