Just made an update to my portfolio site. I'm a freelance designer and I'm looking to pick up a corporate job. What do you think, anything that doesn't look right? Want to make a good impression.

Your site is very nicely done. One suggestion I would make is to center your content horizontally on the page. That way there won't be as much dead space on the right if a person is viewing the page at 1024x768 or higher resolution.

Exactly what position are you attempting to apply for?

I'm not trying to be mean, but you don't have anything on your site or in your portfolio that makes you stand out in one way or another. Design is decent, got some problems with details and typography. Code is nothing to be prod of. And your copywriting skills could definately use some work.

Not as bad as some I've seen, but definately not nearly as good as some I've seen.

Well I don't know what you guys have been smoking but you can't be talking about the site of the URL given surely?

    I like the site!
It's small and compact but as Tony said if it was centred it would look better on higher resolutions as well as smaller.

It looks great and doesn't take a long time to load either
The frames used on your site blend in nicely and don't have an ugly boarder or scroll bar.

The work in your portfolio is great but the links to the pages are a bit confusing ("the works")

    Apart from that nice job.

    Looks good.

One point to make. The text in the top graphic:

(to the right) is a bit hard to read, maybe a lighter colour?
