    Hey!

This is my new site. Well its not new, I just changed the site. It used to be a personal site but since I wasn't really that interested in it anymore I decided to change it into a type of portfolio.

I really like the layout. What do you think?

    hmm...

    - not a fan of the large image at the top of the page (don't see the point of it being so big, just makes people have to scroll down)

    - navigation seems quite small and hidden (doesn't really stand out)

    - i am guessing that by the looks of it you are using frames (which i personally do not like). the main content frame seems to be pretty tiny

that will do me for now

    I agree with everything above.

You're a fan, I get it. Such a large homage collage is appropriate for a fan site, but if this is your personal portfolio, that message is not coming through.

    Artwork... digital? Collages.

You, as in stuff for me?

The navigation needs to be reconfigured, the layout needs to be overhauled. Focus on content and THEME. And kill the frames.

I have an eye for detail like you'd never believe.

Who are they, the usual suspects?

<disclaimer>I don't mean to be harsh, sexist, or any other term with a bad connotation</disclaimer>, but it just looks like the cliche fansite or personal site of a teenage girl. I don't know what distinguishes this from any other site in that category because I've seen so many of them. I mean, A Lot. A large image at the top that has no purpose followed by a skinny bar on the left with links and a tagboard and a skinny bar on the right with updates. This is not at all meant to dissuade you from designing the way you want because is it your site after all.

Having said that, you do have an edge over those other sites because you don't use blindingly small text or obnoxious cursors on the rollover. Some of your graphics work is cool too.

not a fan of the small iframe

especially when most things require horizontal scrolling
