You can be blunt if need be. Any ideas on improvement are welcome.

I like it. However, the text on the header image "web design", "logo design", "poster design & more" is not that clear for me.
Also, in your code you have your CSS styles in the code. It will trim the file size a little by placing all your CSS into a .css file and linking or importing it.
And, I tried to validate your code and you are missing a DOCTYPE.

But visually its real nice.
Nice one
You don't really have to put css into a separate file (e.g. style.css) although it is easier if you wanted to say change the font style for the whole site all you would have to do is edit the style.css
Also is this HTML?
I don’t see a open <html> or a close </html> tag anywhere.
And as Bfsog said you do need a document type.
Overall the visual look of your site is great and all that is missing now is the content.
Good Luck

The site is simple but very appealing. Most of the weak points have already been said, but my advice to you is to switch from table design to completely using Css tableless design.
It will make your site load faster, and easier to change in the future.
nice looking site, add <html> tags and a DOCTYPE tag. Using CSS for positioning instead of tables would be better. And like bfsog said the text "web design", "logo design", "poster design & more" isn't clear to read, use a white text colour for these or something which makes them stand out on the orange background.

Thanks for the replies...
That was just the rough design. It was done in notepad so a few things would be missing.
I dislike fully css sites. I prefer the use of tables to DIVs or FRAMEs, but thanks any way.
