It's going to be at www.stephensboats.com when it's finished but I just thought I'd see if anyone had some constructive comments/criticism for me? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Neil

First, welcome back after 10 years!
The site looks pretty simple. I noticed you will have PDF docs open up with the graphic links.
Plus, I assume there are more links coming between the dealers and contact buttons, correct?
I'm not a big fan of the "Stephens" text logo, but I assume also this is a design they have already?
I'd tighten up the graphics and align them on the left, maybe put some text content about the company/site in the middle.
I'm more of a fan of putting links on the right or along the top, since we read left to right......so if you switched sides with the links and the graphics, I think it would look pretty good.
I'd be interested in seeing the finished product.
Good luck with it........

Thanks heaps GMan... Finally someones helping me out!Cheers!
your server was down. I will check it out later.
yea, the main logo is ugly. And I don't like the black smudgy thing behind the Dealers button.
I like the pictures for the boats.
I think that containing the page in a one or two pixel thick border would look nice. And then making a horizontal navigation across the top with a new banner above it.
Your code isn't as great as it could be. You could make that page with alot less code with css positioning. Since you've been gone for so long, that's something you should learn about, although I've noticed you've started.
And to answer your question, yes, you should have bothered![]()

Thanks Jason! I'll try out your suggestions and I'll certainly be learning about css positioning/layout... I'm very glad I bothered now!!!
