    For the first site:
I'm not a fan of blue and greeen color sheme? I dont like i think many people donot too.And about the navigation, its not good when you put that at the right site. It looks ugly, though.
and the grey title color of each part is hard to read change it to white.
    Other than that good design.

Thanks, why exactly is it not good to have the navigation at the right? and what gray title color do you mean exactly?

the title of each page: About us - Contact us - My Portfolio - Ordering info. The grey is too dark.
Normally, they have the navigation at the left site or both site.right site is ok if that is your idea but i think is look bad.

    And the second website:
the link hover is difficult to read on the grey background. If you want grey background color, you text and you link should be bright color.
Center your whole site could give your it better looking.

I don't mind the blue and green myself. Then again, occasionally I have odd tastes that way.

My primary concern with the first website is the content itself. First of all, there are numerous errors in grammar (e.g. "A website needs two things a web designer and a web host." should read "A website needs two things: a web designer, and a web host.") Secondly, your "Email webmaster" should be hyperlinked. Third, your portfolio link shouldn't contain links to things other people did for you. That is somewhat akin to Ford saying "our cars are the best on the market. If you don't believe us, just take a look at the car GM built for us." That's about as "constructive" as I can possibly be.

The second site isn't bad overall, but the light text on a dark BG is hard to read and what I thought were links in the top right don't work.

I hope you're ready for this...

    Site # 1:

    1. Your top image has artifacting - I believe that is the correct term (someone can correct me if I'm wrong) - the edges aren't clear; they're fuzzy.

    2. The top menu - I think you should use rollovers, since users respond better to visual changes (besides, your other menu changes).

    3. The right menu - I agree that having it on the right is rather an odd placement, but each to their own

    4. The bottom section - "Terms of Use" and "Email Webmaster" should both be hyperlinked.

    5. On your Order Form - the "click" button at the bottom of your form should say something else, such as "Submit" or "Submit Form".

    6. I agree with theGAME regarding the grammar on this site - overall I find it quite poor.

    7. I find that any links you have in your content don't stand out, so they are difficult to know they are a link, until your mouse is actually over them.

    8. The Home page - every other page you have has a green background, yet the home page does not - you should be consistent (in my opinion).

    9. As theGAME said, your Portfolio should not include any sites that you did not design yourself (which the second one clearly states).

    Site #2:

Not bad, though there are a couple of things...

    1. The hover colour for the links are way to dark.

    2. The "Home" link takes you back to the "splash" page, forcing you to re-enter the site - annoying, to say the least.

I have a few things to say...

1.I agree with everyone else on almost every point.

2.I'm not sure if anyone else notices this, but the text on your 'Entry Level Design' button is not aligned with the button next to it.

3.Same problem with the 'Portfolio' button.

    4.I don't like the colors.
