Frontpage, huh?
Well, to improve on it, it will take some work. If you aren't familiar with Dreamweaver or any other web design software........then I'd get a good tutorial book on Frontpage.
The design, I just can't say, I don't see any content to be able to give it any kind of review.
I can say with what you have that:
1) I'd lose the double navs (the one above and the one on the left). Use or go with only one. If you go with the one above, then you can put graphics and content below. If you go with the one on the left, then you can create a banner and/or logo for the top.
2) Stay consistent with your fonts. Meaning, don't have blocked fonts in your nav buttons and then a rounded font in your content. Stick with one. If it were a personal site, I'd say go to town on rounded fonts, if you want a more professional look, then go with the blocked fonts
3) Color scheme. Your nav buttons are two different colors (gray and a pink gradient). If you are using red text, then make you nav buttons a little more a long the lines of a red than a pink. Get a good color scheme and stick with it for your other pages.
4) Really, you have 3 navs (if you count the drop down menu). I'd lose the drop down menu.......you are going to emphasize choice over content and one set of navs is plenty.
5) Get or develop a logo for them. If they have one, use it. If not, try and dev one for them.
If these are your first sites, I think I saw another post from you, then keep at it. You will find in the beginning, spending several days is not uncommon.........you will get better and it will get easier.
Good luck.......
It is a start and web design is not easy and does take quite a while to master. My advice would be to try and use some good templates that are available free online and get use to the layout and feel of them.
Also make yourself familiar with a design tool like Photoshop. Once you start playing around with these then it will start to come together.
Good luck
