Could really do with some colour behind the confessions. Even just white would make them look more attached.

Well if you look to the left of the form box where the user posts the confessions, the previous confessions are listed down the left hand side. If you put even a little backing colour on the back to give the confessions some prominence it would make a big difference. Even better if you had a column that extended from the top to the bottom behind the confessions it would give them a well visually defined area. When making a design it’s good to visually define different areas so viewers can intuitively identify the data on the page since most people 'scan' read web pages. But the same goes for any design it just makes it easier to comprehend on the whole.
