Fonts !

Hi, Im having trouble with fonts on one of my sites. Looks great on the design computer, but on some of the others, it looses the fonts. For this site, I am using a free ftp site with limited capabilities. Could the host be the problem, or is it the fonts may not be loaded on the specific computer viewing the page, or is there a way to load the fonts with page?

It's nothing to do with the host, it's (as you say) the fact that whatever font you're using is not present on the computer viewing the site.

Personally I would stick with well distributed fonts... a very common combination on the web is the "Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-serif" combination... basically tells the computer to check if Verdana is installed, and if so use it, otherwise check Arial, then Helvetica and if all else fails use the generic sans-serif cont.

However, if you are determined to use other fonts then you could, potentially, embed them in the page. Rather than re-invent the wheel I'll simply give you a link to an excellent article which goes through all the issues etc. as well as giving instructions how to do it.
