Hey, What do you think of this site? I am unsure, I think it looks unprofessional but I would like your view. Especially how it works in IE. Since I use a mac and have heard this site may have problems viewed on IE.

Its made in CSS and is my first attempt at using it

yeah there is a few IE problems...

    1. Window rendering. Text overlaps with some displays & sizes.
    2. Bit laggy...

I am in the process of correcting the HTML code to make it pass the W3 tests. I am not sure how the positioning works! At the top there is a white bar although i set the positioning to make the h1 element stay at the top. Which is the ideal way to position elements in css for all browsers?

the positioning can be done with a bit of javascript, try out the java section of the forum. I'm not that brilliant with CSS but i know theres a lot of people on here that can help you, just wait till next reply.

Did you want the navigation bar to stay at the top?
Anyway my reply is this, I believe you have a nice clean cut design on your hands. The only really thing I can see wrong from my browser standpoint is a grammar error. I wouldn't have two welcomes so close together. Other then that, it looks pretty good mate.

Oh and one more thing, you should try and be ADA compliant if your going to be W3C compliant, just a thought.
