My new site design

Hi everyone! This is my first post on here so be gentle. I'm working on a new web site design. So far all i've done is the generic template. For info, i'm trying to keep the design simple and as standards-compliant as i possibly can. Please remember, too, that it's a work in progress.

Opinions please!

most of the header/footer/left panel is pretty unreadable. if i was a little blinder, it would be unusable.

i would add a third color to balance things out a bit, it's a little pale. you can still keep the feeling of what you're going for, just choose the third color carefully.

Hi,

The site looks good, it has a nice simple design. I agree with FarOdyssey on the site being too plain. I would suggest adding more orange into the design, maybe having the rollover links orange insted of bule. Blue and orange seem to go well with each other.

Also if you change the light blue to a darker blue, it maybe easier to read the white text. Other than that its a good start, good design and for the most part good color choice.

Nice site, very simple and plain. I think changing the light blue color into a darker blue would look better and try to add more color to make it more attractive to web visitors.
