I have posted an earlier version of my site. It is a flash/photoshop based site, I am currently a free lance designer, so I would prefer not to here people telling me its not suitable for a portfolio site. It is simply to show my work, and be a portfolio site to have up while I mess around in photoshop and whatnot.

    Enjoy

    Hi Tim,

First of all, TURN OFF THE SOUND! If I do not have the patience to look at your site for the simple nuisance of the noise pollution (this is not a negative comment on your music choice, it's simply a comment on me not wanting to hear something instead of just my own music), then your clients (or potential clients) won't either.

Okay... the green is a bit bright for my taste, especially against the black background.

There seem to be some size/alignment problems. It looks as if you are in the process of putting more stuff in, as in saving room. If that is not the case, you've way to much empty space in the content area. It's creating nice blue scrollbars that clash horribly on both the side, and the bottom. That's part of the alignment problem: the line across the top gets broken when you scroll, I'd change the area of your content so that the top remains static. There was also a line somewhere that wasn't smooth, not sure where, though.

Portfolio page... Soon as I touch something, the content scrolls to the side, oh about a centimeter. It's a very odd movement. Also, there is plenty of room to build another layer above or below to avoid the scroll.

I have an eye for detail like you'd never believe.

@dc - I have been thinking about removing the audio from when the layout is 'building' itself anyways. Either that, or making it extremely quiet.

And the lines issues is being dealt with, I know exactly what is going on

The portfolio page, I am going to modify it so when you press on one of the links, it stops moving. Thanks

Not lovin the green bars. They seem like they wanna go neon, but just are not getting there yet. Perhaps more of a subtle gradient and spread would help...

Like the mouseover on the flash thumbnails (in the portfolio). Very organic!
