The site looks like a template, there is nothing much more than generic information. If there is competition for your services, you might want to explain a few things. Before and After page had to be reloaded for the images to show (FF 1.5.0.1), but add much needed context.

Try explaining what makes you different. Perhaps you use steam rather than harsh chemicals, or keep meticulous notes on customer preferences. Maybe disasters are causes by amateurs who don't use the right tool for the job, so you train workers 50% longer than industry averages, and you train specialists for specific jobs. Perhaps there are special quirks when working with housing associations, and you've mastered them.

Check out the detail of The Car Wash Guys ...nothing out of the ordinary, just why you should do business with them.

When the logo and contact data can be removed and freely exchanged with any competitor -- there's a problem. The site answers fewer questions than it raises. Far from creating curiousity to get a quote, this site raised my curiosity about what's on other sites. The site is an extended "open for business" sign, not information which will decide customers to do business with you.

DC thanks for the feedback. We do plan to add more to the site, at this point I'm thinking more on the look of the web site. What did you think of the overall look? By saying it looks like a template, do you mean that in a good or bad way?

    Thanks,
    Stephen

    "a good or bad way?"

More a statistic median way. It is good looking enough to be just about any site. It does not stand out as a showpiece in any dimension, but layout, nav, visual flow are okay. Unfortunately nav choices are centered on materials, not customer benefits. I would like to see something with direct appeal to specific customer segments.

Unless you're geeking out on some new technology, the site is going to look good. There are services which give a snapshot in a variety of browsers, so browser checks is not even bare minimum. Worrying about the mechanics of the layout is far too often drowning out concern over what the site is supposed to accomplish. Templates don't need to care about anything but holding together in various browsers -- websites do.

    The Good
I like the color scheme and the graphics look very professional. The site is very polished. Fact is, this site is so polished that it looks like a cookie-cutter template. If it is, that's ok because it works. If you built this from scratch, then kudos on a very good site.

    The Bad
The site was a little slow for me, it took about 10 seconds to load on our T1 line. The mouseovers are not working properly. They are very sluggish to react the first time in both IE and FF and remain as such in IE.

    Conclusion
I like the site. It works well and does its job. The comments above about the content and purpose of the site are certainly valid and need to be addressed. Visually I think the site is good and you can call it complete, now I'd suggest getting to work on the content.
