    Hi guys, looking for some sounds for a website im putting together, im looking for background music as well as buttons sounds etc. Does anyone know any free sites where i can get these from?

    You can get decent music from http://www.sounddogs.com

    As for sound effects, you can get CDs with hundreds of them for only a few bucks at any CompUSA.

    Or, if you want to get them off the web, just do a search for [searchweb]free sound effects[/searchweb] or whatever would be more specific to the sound you're looking for.

    FlashKit has a huge library of sound effects, and you can listen to them before you download them.

    I'd also recommend FlashKit. There are a ton of them there (free and paid) and some really nice sounds among them. If I were you though, I don't know if I'd put a background track into a site. There are some of us out there who refuse to have our Jimmy Buffett interrupted by website music (especially when we can't turn it off.)
