I wouldn't have the content scroll, just let the whole page scroll.

People are used to scrolling the whole page, and you don't have a footer or anything so I see no reason to have two places to scroll.

So just don't put a height on my content div and let it freely flow?

Yeah I'd do that. If you really want the menu to stay visible you could set that in a div with static position.
Currently using: Firefox 1.5, IE 7, Notepad, Ms Paint, GIMP

Having a 152Kb PNG header is a problem if you ask me. I'm not against PNG and I don't want to get into a PNG vs. JPG debate, but to be reasonable for 56k users, of which there are plenty, JPG with medium compression would be the way to go.

Ok, I've made it free flowing, but now how can I make it so theres a 15pixel area below the content div?

I am really feeling this site. I like the greens in the header and I like the way its so uniform and flows nicely. I'm being honest. Its a great idea that you are building up your portfolio too

Looking at it more, I would put the title of the site in the banner. It will give it a little more purpose and identify the site a little more.

Right now someone just scanning through would think "Whats with all the vegtables?" , the name of the site isn't really apparent.

However, a title over the banner will help clearify your choice in the pictures and make the site title hard to miss.

Maybe change the background too? The lines are so close together that to me it looks like it is trying to simulate another shade of gray, as if the depth didn't support it. (ie: back before when we only had 16 colors on computers)

Maybe something that looks a little more organic, to go with the theme of your site?
