I have some ideas about this site, but I am looking for honest outside opinions. Good, bad, indifferent? I'm putting together a report and would like to include input.

    Thanks!

    Where to start?...........Hmmm........
First colors are a big issue. They have too much going on as far as colors. Less is more.
Next, the home page looks like some neighbor's cousin's friend did it. Not a professional looking site for a company.
The banner needs work too (along with the VERY large nav buttons)......and this is not the little ones at the top that are some hinky icons somebody stole off of something else (those need to go too).
Obviously, content is an issue. In the "about us" section, all they have are bullet points. The about us tells nothing about them. Bullet points are fine as long as it is part of a complete description.
What all does this company do, what are their business philosophies, what are they all about, etc.
Probably the last thing to address is the horrible attempt at being creative when it comes to the corporate hq photo.
The charcoal drawing is way out of place and it gives no sense as to what their headquarters actually looks like.
Hope that helps. Good luck with it.
    Are you redesiging the site?

oh boy... That doesn't display right in FF at all. Main div scrolls both ways and text appears way out of place, overlapping other items...

Your Code is indented well and looks sound. I believe the weakness lies in your CSS. Don't try to run before you can walk.

    Look at sites like:
    http://www.elated.com/tutorials/authoring/css/
    http://www.csszengarden.com/
    http://www.cssbeauty.com/

These should give you a really good idea as to how to start with CSS. Also what I did when I knew nothing about CSS what so ever was I downloaded a program called SimpleCSS (http://www.hostm.com/css/) and that helped me by letting me see the consequences of any changes I made to a style sheet.

Before long I had a good grasp on the basics which allowed me to progress really quickly.

    Dan..
No ma'am, we in IT don't have a sense of humor we're aware of.
