Just looking to make sure everything is showing well in multiple browsers and screen sizes.

Would a few people mind checking my site? How do you like it?

You're quite able to delete the second one yourself...

    Anyway...

Site looks ok. I'm using FF on Windows XP.

My browser did block a pop-up though. A lot of people's will do this so I suggest you lose whatever is causing this.
No ma'am, we in IT don't have a sense of humor we're aware of.

well, my host picked a perfect time to go down. that's just a place holder page until the server is back up. when it's fixed, you will see a page with a video player on it.

when you went to the site, did you see a video player? my hosting went down and last night and, as of this post is still down. so maybe you were only looking at the place holder page? the original site does have a news ticker, though, at the top of the page. i suspect that could give people problems and will probably remove it if it does. thanks.

If you remove the "/main.php" from the end of the web address you can get to the site... if that is the site that you want people to comment on. If this is the case, it runs fine in Firefox 1.5, Opera 8.5 and IE 6, all on Windows XP. However, there are no 'Ads by Google' in Internet Explorer.

Okay, I changed the "main" extension to "idex" and now the site's at its own address. But what's this about "Ads by Google" not appearing in IE? Does anyone else not see the "ads by google"? I had the same problem when I first built the site with the top banner overlapping the adsense ads but a few line breaks fixed it. I may be able to fix it on Mateo's computer but what will happen to the sites' appearance on mine and other people's computers who now see the ads? Won't there be a huge space between the top banner and the google ads? Why would the ads be blocked by the banner anyway?

p.s. the link in my first post is no longer good. the site is here now:

    The New Address

p.s.s. minute44, could the pop up be caused by my news ticker? there's supposed to be a news ticker at the very top of each page. do you see it?

Looks fine on Mac, both Safari & FF. Pop-up blocker remained idle & ticker appeared. You should fix the ticker though, it has ? where there should be ' in at least a couple of spots, and the longer headlines get chopped off in a weird way.

I have an eye for detail like you'd never believe.

thanks. the ticker is an iframe. at first i had it in php code but for some reason when it that form it would truncate the bottom of the border around the video player in IE. i love the ticker despite its faults because it's customizable i.e. i can input what articles it brings up based on keywords and it brings them up and updates automatically. if i could find something better i'd change it though
