Hey guys! I've been absent from the forums for awhile working on my BS in Information Technology. I recently finished designing a site for my friend's photography business. Let me know what you guys think.

BTW...I know the Flash gallery is slow loading. The images are a bit large and are being resized now.

Thanks for browsing and all comments and criticisms are welcome.

I like the color combo, but the text is a bit dark, and could be harder to read for those with vision problems.

Also, I would advise tagging on a `Loading' or something textual to the gallery loading bit. Makes it seem more... Human, somehow. Also, tables == bad. But that's a big task :-)

Even with all the lights in my office turned out I can't read this site. To make matters worse, you use a DARKER text on hover...

I looked at this site for all of 3 seconds.

I'm guessing he either designed this on a mac or using a TFT monitor or both. I can read it OK but I'm on a TFT.

You're right though J. It is far too dark!!!

What would designing on a Mac change that? Do they brighten colors or something?

Yeah, they have higher gamma levels.

I didn't design this on a MAC...it was all PC. I do however use a 23" Apple Cinema Display.

The unfortunate thing is the customer asked me for black, green and gray. I tried numerous times to inform him that those colors were not user friendly and would be difficult to view for most common users.

I requested that we use a lighter shade of gray (almost white) for the text, but he refused to consider the change. I appreciate your comments on the site...and will take them into consideration on my next project. I will definitely be giving the tables == bad link posted a look.

    Thanks again for the comments!

I have gone against my clients better judgement and changed the stylesheet to make the text lighter and a bit easier on the eyes.

I would lighten the text in the nav elements as well.
