< wince >. Mystery Meat Navigation is a bad idea from every usability perspective. Even if you want to keep it, though, the MENU text is non-obvious as a way to get to the navigation.

The navigation is a pain, and there are a few spelling errors. The content portion looks alright.

Good Lord ... that navigation has the be the WORST I've seen ... EVER!

I shouldn't have to "reload" the menu on every page. Menus should ALWAYS be viewable/available

I think this site needs some work. I don't really like the way it's showcasing his art. I think that the exhibitions that are on now should be showcased on the home page so that people can see right away where to go.

His stuff is REALLY good but unfortunately I don't find that the site does him justice ... sorry.

When the site first loaded I ran my mouse down the large text at the left of the graphic expecting it to be the nav menu.

The layout of the front page is very bad. I don't like the wrapping text, the position of the graphic, or the different font sizes. I think that nav menu needs to be pulled into the element and placed to the left, the text needs to be restructured and headed (I had no idea that the text on the right was a quote until I noticed the TINY notation at the bottom), and the graphic needs to be resized and placed to the right side (if you want to keep the text wrap) of the content element.

Looks like the first thing to do with your site is fix the nav (or lack of).
I too looked for it and could not find it. When I did click on it, I kept reading the content on the homepage and guess what?
    The nav bar disappeared.

More annoying than cute, trust me.

The other thing.......it looks like you do good work, but I saw comments above that the site doesn't do you justice......and I agree.

Last thing. 3rd person. Why refer to yourself in the 3rd person throughout the entire site? I mean, it is everywhere.
If someone created this site for you, then have them do three things:
    1) Change the nav
    2) Put the word "I" everywhere they see the word "he"
    3) Ask them for a refund

Good luck with the site.........and your artwork is really good.

I read some peoples posts before I looked at the site so I knew the Navigation would be a little odd ball but I honestly cannot believe how nuts it really is.

If I had been an actual user I would have left before I found the navigation.

At first, with shadowfiend saying it was mystery meat I thoght the four pictures in the middle were going to be the main menu... still a bad idea but far more intuative than the real navigation.
No ma'am, we in IT don't have a sense of humor we're aware of.
