Hi i have start designing websites for a few people. I am self taught and I could use some advise in order to maximise the website I am working on could you look at my first effort www.holidayofadifference.co.uk and advise the best way for marketing it for free. I realise that there is a limit you can do for free. The reason is the people I am doing websites for are on a budget and I am trying to maximise their website the best way I can.
I didn't have a lot of time to do this website due to various reasons but this new website I am doing is looking a lot better.
I am also looking for advise on how to create a flash image which displays all the products for sale like a slideshow.

Any help you can give me would be really appreciated.

    Tim

well, umm the top of the page, the banner and date, and the navigation look outstanding. Then we get to the center of the page and it looks like a complete mess. There is no organization what-so-ever. My advice...give the center some sort of organization. Also, look into using divs and css instead of tables.

The logo/banner, date, and navigation are awesome, but the rest of the page isn't. It doesn't look like they belong together. Try using a solid color for your background, and don't use images for your text, it looks bad and isn't readable by search engines. Another thing I would do is to remove the Finka Innit banners and any others on the pages.

It actually looks like 2 differents people made this site. Agree with the others above, organize the content! Get rid of those HUGE pixelated images.

As for SEO, it's all about keywords. Use H1 for titles instead of images and make sure there's some keywords in there.

It is an infinite improvement on what you first displayed, you are definately going in the right direction.

    Next...

Get new images, ones which actually fit the size you need them for. Currently they look a bit stretched
