    Updated 10/27/2006:
Once, again I'm back. I made more updates, primarily to the layout, but the site is getting very close to being live.

Tell me what you think... Critiques, bugs, etc... Let me have it!

You can see the previous version of the beta from before the most recent changes at http://yaxnet.com/beta/old/ .

Filburt, you were/are right about the acronyms. I cut back on 'em to only the necessary things.

    Thanks!

    Updated 10/17/2006:

HI! I've finally gotten some free time over the past couple days and got to continue working on the beta site. There are still a few pages offline, however for the most part everything is there. What I'm mostly interested in is opinions/critique on the overall design, graphics, layout, accessibility, etc...

    THANKS!

The site is is 100% Valid xHTML 1.1 Strict, and CSS.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got tired of my current layout and felt it needed a "face lift". I stuck with the same general sort of layout, but changed quite a few things as well...

Not all of the pages are online yet, but I wanted to get this up before it gets to late. There are enough online to at least review, though I would think.

    It's pretty cool...and XHTML 1.1 compliant.

A smaller but slightly darker font (Verdana 11px maybe) for the footer might look better.

    Thanks for the quick review.

In regards to the footer font I'll do that. I just checked it on a computer with a higher contrast than my laptop and it's a bit hard to read.

    Again, Thanks!

    More reviews, comments, etc... appreciated!

Have you altered something like moved the style sheet? Right now it looks like an unformatted webpage.

Yeah, it seems to just look like a really amateur site, "unformatted" or whatever, still judging by the old site when this ones right it should be good!

I was uploading a few re-fomatted pages and my internet went down last night half-way through so it wasn't completely uploaded.

The site is online now, though.

    THanks.

Hm. You're the first to say that.

If you don't mind could you please elaborate? There are very few items reflecting and to me don't appear to be too overused or overwhelming. Anybody else agree that they're overused?

I don't think they're a distraction really. I never even noticed them until Joofhart mentioned it. The design itself is good though. Looks mainly content driven without going overboard with flashy graphics. Me like.
