I just put this page together as the online presence/portfolio for my on-the-side web design business. I'd love to get some critique from you guys as far as how it could be improved.

    Notes:
I was going for a very clean, simple look.
Yes, I know everything is lower case, that was purposeful and I figure it's unique.

I like it, the google search seems a little overkill though.

Its showing some errors that you might want to fix in the W3C validator

Yeah... I got rid of the google search, I wasn't so sure about it myself.

    Also fixed up the validation.

Looks fine. Don't really see anything wrong with it. It's not bad but it's not blowing my mind either.

Well karinne, would you have any suggestions to improve it?

It seems just to be a very simple and uninspiring website, it looks kinda ninetiesish to me, i think you should add some more detail to the background maybe? or perhaps change that little fade-to-black gradient image thing to something more impressive and eye catching?
    best wishes

I quite like the simplicity of it. Everything goes well together.

One thing that catches me as disctinctly northern: It's defining yourself as a plural in several pages. You say you're a one man design company, yet you refer to yourself as 'us'. Minor niggle, quite amused me really.

It's nice though. Not mind blowing, but it's certainly more focussed on content than fancy graphics. Which is good.

You'll be happy to know that I'm bringing a partner on, just in time for what is hopefully a good bit of business. Now the us makes more sense.

I changed my unused 'resume' page over to a staff page to reflect that.

Oh, one last thing. Consistency. You call yourself both Leeward Design and Leeward Designs. Make up your mind

There's a reason for that, I switched from the plural to the singular when I found out the .com for the plural was taken, I thought I had caught all the plural ones by now.
