Wow, you don't ask for much for a first post -- do you.

There's no two ways about it -- awful. Table-based when most professional designers trasitioned out over six years ago. Which wouldn't be completely bad, except the content is horrendously uninformative. No unique selling proposition. No real content. No graphics skills presented.

Worksafe has a nice color to it -- otherwise primitive.

Creative forest -- dated. trite. Looks like a template circa 1997. Header isn't very good.

Whitson -- No visual flow, pictures are small and don't show much.

Silver -- Primitive, dated, barely qualifies as a web page.

Sutton -- the primitive thing almost works here. But the thumbnails are useless for all practical purposes.

Overall, looks like the layouts were generated by Strange Banana -- except all those layouts are CSS without tables. ....done by a machine. ....for free.

To be honest I agree with the above. In these sites you do not exhibit marketable skill beyond the ability to hack together a site in DreamWeaver with design view. I can't imagine why anyone would pay you to do that when they can do it their self.

So before you continue selling web services (which at this point I can call neither design nor development because we see no evidence of either), I suggest that you extend a courtesy to future clientele and get yourself up to speed on XHTML and CSS, and maybe even some graphic design theory or general knowledge.

That said, the Creative Forest Foods web site is not very bad at all. It's probably the best of the lot, in fact. It still has amateur coding, but the site looks presentable.

I'd say the work safe site looks the best, but all the sites suffer from an overall bad design coupled with bad technique. One big issue is that, on the work safe site, you are taking full sized images and using html to shrink them. This looks bad and makes for larger file sizes. The banner on the same site has a white halo around it. You should have merged it with the gradient layer then cut around it, rather than anti-alias on white.

On your main site, you have links to back and home. The home link links to the page your on, which is stupid. The back link could take a user right off your site.

Iíll agree with what the others said, about the sites seeming old. A couple also looked like they were made in FrontPage, though a look at the code looks like dreamweaver.

While a couple people hinted at it, the truth of web development is that you can not make a decent site in FrontPage or Dreamweaver design mode.

Isn't there some rule about overloading a post with links in this HMS section? Agree with above posts, learn hand coding...

It's not encouraged, but as an aside, there is a rule about using referral IDs in your signature, or anywhere on the site for that matter. Removing ID.
